Review of The Maze Runner (2014) by Richard D — 14 Jan 2016
A solid enough teen adventure film. While it does fall in to some movie cliches such as amnesia. The entire film is basically set up for the sequel, however I did find enough material here to warrant a viewing. I do have to mention the secondary villain Gally. He is more of a roadblock for the hero, and he can be perceived as annoying, but I found him to be surprisingly believable and sympathetic.
The world has an interesting design and I'm curious to see the next one. It's nothing groundbreaking but still has its place.
