Review of The Maze Runner (2014) by Fullmetal — 28 Sep 2014
This film, for me, would be deemed a sleeper sci fi hit. I expected this to be similar to the Hunger Games when it came to a post apocalyptic future with children in a "game" of sort. Some of the acting was wooden, but I expected that to be the case.
Either way, the ending definitely peaked my interest. Some of the things throughout the movie were also pretty mysterious, which goes a long way in engaging the viewer. After the movie, I went and picked up the book series.
Didn't really want to wait six or so years to see how the movie trilogy ends, if there is even a sequel.
