Review of The Maze Runner (2014) by Sarah L — 12 Feb 2015

Firstly: This film is worth watching. It has great graphics, great cinematography, and what I felt were really fun action scenes. The actors are pretty solid as well.

Secondly: Yes, the ending is very open ended, but I believe that's because they're intending to make the rest of the books into films. The ending partially satisfies the curiosity built up throughout the movie, but does absolutely leave the watcher with quite a cliff hanger in preparation for the next movie.

I must say that I appreciate the genuine, "WTF is happening?" Feeling that this movie gives you - similar to movies like Cube. I enjoy having no idea what's happening, guessing and being completely wrong. I get bored with movies one can predict too easily.

All of that being said, I do recommend this movie. ^_^.
