Matrix Revolutions...what happened? There is a large portion of the film, 30 minutes worth, where absolutely nothing excels or progresses. The spectacle is grand and tries hard to be memorable and the climactic battle attempts to be an icon in the action genre, but it is badly written and faithless that it stumbles and falls hard, hardly getting as close as it should have in delivering the final philosophical punch.
