Review of The Matrix Revolutions (2003) by Julian T — 29 Dec 2011
By this point, the 'Matrix' films have clearly worn out their welcome. Ever so slightly an improvement over the second installment, but that is like saying dog shit smells better than cat shit.
All the same problems of the second apply here, complete with overhanded plot and themes, overly self-insistent preachiness, bad script and acting, and the same insufferable Michai Pheifer.
Can anyone tell me what is up with all the rain and insane water balls in the sky during the 50 ridiculous aerial battle scenes in this movie? All I can say is thank god the story is definitively over, and good riddance. What a sad ending to such a once proud franchise. I couldn't have messed up a good franchise this bad if I used my ass instead of my hands.
