Review of The Matrix Revolutions (2003) by John H — 21 Jan 2013
An infuriating disappointment. It fails to resolve, explain, or even continue the developments teased at the end of RELOADED, spends what seems like half the running time on a fight involving characters we barely know, and ultimately ends so confusingly, in a way so anticlimactic, that the final (cliched) image of hope instead becomes a grating spit in the eye.
Impenetrable and disheartening. The Wachowskis are still recovering from this thing.
