Review of The Matrix Revolutions (2003) by Jared B — 23 Aug 2013
The best part of this pseudo-religious parable is the real-world battle in Zion. Neo losing his eye sight was weak. The fight scenes in the Matrix are a muddled, poorly shot poorly edited mess. It's just such a shame these movies veered so far off the course laid out in the excellent first instalment.
Turning Neo into this Christ like figure but without the well explained philosophical underpinnings of Jesus. I love me some metaphor, but we need SOME exposition! Just a weak conclusion to a fun series.
