Many consider this to be the worst of the series but personally, I find it was better than Reloaded. Like its predecessors it's a monstrously creative film. The plot and philosophy goes through so much unexplored ground. The sequels had a very big issue with getting lost in meandering philosophy, many characters going on filibusters of abstract ideas that distracted from the pragmatism of the plot. they also got very, very silly in their presentation and Revolutions is no exception. I will concede that the number of clichés and cartoonishly silly performances distracted from this films strengths, and those are what the previous film lacked: an overwhelming sense of conclusion.

To me, this film feels like a two - hour climax. It has been criticized for being anticlimactic but I find its anything but. everything brought up in the story so far comes to a boil and is resolved creatively. I enjoy this film while being well aware of its many faults and understand why many cannot look passed them. But I see more than that, and while it's not nearly as good as the first one, I find its at least better than the second.
