Well it's a documentary telling everything there was in the making. It's all done so superficially that someone who doesn't know anything of the techniques used can watch and understand. Aimed for the masses and that's why it's made without going to any depths in any area.
And that is why its boring and bad. Person interested in seeing the making is propably interested in the details of the making. So why leave those out?
