The Matrix Reloaded was inadequate, the Matrix Revolutions was irredeemable, but this is absolutely inexcusably, incomprehensibly bad.
A convoluted, incoherent mash up of conflicting story, inane dialogue, banal action set pieces and atrocious acting. Some scenes are so overwhelmingly awful that they feel like a genuine student-made parody film.
Two stars awarded for reminding me with all its pretentious metacinematic tripe just how great the original film was.
