Review of The Matrix Reloaded (2003) by Andrew F — 26 Nov 2013
I take back everything I've ever said about this movie being any good. It really really isn't... it starts off with almost nothing but clunky boring exposition, it unnecessarily brings back Agent Smith and turns him into a character he really wasn't, its philosophical ideas are almost complete nonsense, the action sequences while pretty don't offer any connection because none of the characters seem vulnerable any more - especially Neo - and, really, it utilizes the action sequence that probably SHOULD have been the capstone for the entire series (you know the one I'm talking about)... at its halfway point. WHY?
But perhaps its greatest sin of all? It ends on a cliffhanger that leads into... ugh... Matrix Revolutions...
