Review of The Matrix Reloaded (2003) by Vadim D — 01 Feb 2015
After the success of The Matrix, the Wachowski Brothers retuned to make two more films and create a franchise for the Matrix. So what could possibly go wrong? Well, it was disappointing but also not bad (at least for my taste).
It does have some good moments like the first film like some of the action is decent, some other villains have some pretty kick ass powers, and the film having some interesting ideas, the nagging fact is that it's choreographed kung-fu fights are boring at times, some interesting ideas like the glitches in the Matrix are never explored, its story gets WAY to far up its own ass during the end, Agent Smith having suddenly come back (which is never explained btw), and the hyped city of Zion being a utter disappointment.
