Review of The Matrix (1999) by Edward C — 05 Nov 2013
The dialogue and story were just rehashings of Greek philosophy, and not even particularly complex ones at that, and all the characters but Agent Smith come across as far too archetypal, and sometimes aren't as fun to watch.
The action however is as top notch as it can ever be, and it was so technically innovative, it still holds up well for that standard.
