Review of The Matrix (1999) by Kyle H — 29 Jun 2014
A very unique and enthralling sci-fi action movie. Keanu Reeves' acting isn't good in the general sense, but good enough to play his character, and he very much looks the part. Carrie-Anne Moss also fits the part of Trinity, and her chemistry with Reeves is excellent.
The truly great performances are by Lawrence Fishburne as Morpheus and Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith, both of which are key components to making this film work so well, along with the well-crafted script and revolutionary special effects.
