Review of The Matrix (1999) by Freddie K — 08 Aug 2015
The Matrix was pretty groundbreaking for its time, and even to this day does provide quite a well crafted and imaginative storyline. However I have never cared for its style nor its action which I find completely melodramatic.
Its not always easy to follow either, its got almost everything but sci-fi isn't really my thing and I didn't care for this trilogy yet I can appreciate its intensity and effects. I found both the start and end engaging but I often switch off in the middle where I find it too obnoxious.
