The Matrix is an excellent movie with a well placed climax.

The first part of the movie was about Anderson discovering that he rally lives in the matrix. It's the philosophical part of the movie when the questions are asked: What is real life? What is reality? Who's in control? The entire film is about provoking the thought of considering ones own life. As the Wachowski Brothers said in an interview, they first come up with a thought-provoking idea and make a story around it.

The character Cypher is introduced. He is the kind of person that would choose the blue pill, except he made a mistake drinking the red one. He prefers living in an enjoyable fake world than living the truth. Like Morpheus said: "Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged".

The second part of the movie is the action and the special effects. At the time the movie was released, it had one of the best special effects ever made, and it was the first movie to use stop motion bullets. The second part of the movie was my favorite because I was instantly hooked, there where no moments to breath or go for popcorn. From the moment the Oracle is presented, I couldn't stop watching until the end.

I loved watching the Matrix, I am normally checking the phone often while watching a movie, but The Matrix was so intense and interesting that I didn't even wanted to blink. The climax was spot on, the part when Neo is enlightened and he easily defeats Smith is my favorite.
