A near wordless ,minimal movie which lacks the deadpan humour which is normally in Kaurismäki's movies. The titular character's dreary work , dull social life, yearning for companionship, the rejection from parents and suitors.
.. all the emotion (mostly misery) can be read on Kati Outinen's face.
