Review of The Matador (2005) by Thomas T — 12 Nov 2007
Another take on the classic form "Hit man who's really not such a bad guy, except for the killing people stuff." But this is different. Brosnan's assassin is a hollow, empty, and deeply sad deject, played off nicely against Kinnear's naively sympathetic nebbish.
A good mix of farcical comedy and tender pathos.
