Review of The Matador (2005) by Tp B — 02 Dec 2007
Ah, previews. They can be so deceptive. This was not the movie I expected. Once I got over that, it was a lot of fun seeing Pierce Brosnan in a twitchy, insecure role. Somehow, the character was still in the same genre as Remington Steele, James Bond, and the Thomas Crown Affair, but only if those slick and secure gentlemen went off their meds and lost their sanity.
