Review of The Matador (2005) by Althea P — 12 Aug 2008
With The Matador,Pierce Brosnan shows just why he got the Bond gig in the first place and why he has a career after the franchise. His performance,as emotionally unstable assasin Julian,is simply magnificent.
Witty and charming, yet lewd and foul mouthed,it is one hell of a character for him, played to perfection,in an otherwise average movie, albeit one that has a certain style and pace to it.
