Review of The Matador (2005) by Anupama S — 25 Sep 2009
The only interesting thing about the movie is Brosnan's character. His Julian is a complete parody of the role that made Brosnan a household name - James Bond.
Julian is an aging hitman with an empty life, no friends, no place to call home, and to top it all he's becoming a nervous wreck. Brosnan plays it with characteristic charm and ease.
Rest of the movie is no great shakes.
