OK so maybe this movie has nothing more on its mind that just silliness, but there are a few moments of really funny silliness. I don't care what all of the high-minded critics say; there are times here when I just collapse into belly laughs.
I'm sorry, but Carvey's impersonation of a turtle is just fall-down funny. I'm a 45-year-old AP and IB English instructor, and I'm paid to be a supposed "intellectual," but I'm sorry.
..just thinking about it just makes me giggle!
