Review of The Master (2012) by Mercurio — 22 Sep 2012
I have never seen so many people walk out of the theater about halfway through the movie. To those of you expecting an Oscar-caliber film, while it may undeservedly be nominated for Oscars, this movie is nothing but a collection of beautifully shot but meandering scenes.
There's no story, no narrative arc, just two unlikeable characters interacting in crazier ways. It becomes tiresome, fast.
