Review of The Mask of Zorro (1998) by Cecilia B — 30 Jun 2010
Terrific Zorro movie with a solid story and great thrills, as well as a theme and score that works. James Horner's score fits Zorro perfectly! Banderas kicks ass as the new Zorro who ascends from bandit to hero through mistakes while Hopkins is appealing and charming as the elder Zorro.
Their chemistry holds the movie together. Catherine Zeta-Jones never looked any better. Neither has swordplay and adventure!
