Review of The Mask (1994) by Paul D — 17 Apr 2011
Bleh... I've grown out of this cliche-filled story about a loser being the hero at the end.
The idea itself is pretty unique, though nothing new. 1994 is the year I was born, so I don't know how the cinematic world looked like and how technology was, but as far as I know this movie is considered as modern and I do understand that.
Still, script and storyline are somewhat boring.
Peter Greene was HORRIBLE as Tyrell in mask form and the cast in general was pretty weak. Only Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz were very fit for the leads.
