Review of The Mask (1994) by Brian C — 02 Nov 2011
Jim Carrey has rarely been funnier. Some of the most brilliant slapstick you'll ever see from a time when CGI was still appealing and used with real creativity. The story isn't bad either, and is surprisingly dark.
The whole thing has a sinister tone to it, which perfectly contrasts with Carrey's living breathing cartoon character. This movie never gets old.
