Review of The Martian (2015) by Finstockton — 07 Oct 2015
It might not be a movie tailor made for the oscars that come people had expected it to be but that doesn't stop The Martian from being a great movie with a great cast and marvelous soundtrack. The movie takes what could have so easily been a doom and gloom story and instead injects a considerable amount of fun and comedy, mostly coming in the form of the unflappable Mark Wattney played well by Matt Damon.
The only issue I have is that I personally think Jeff Daniels was miscast.
