I enjoyed this film. It is more science than scifi and hopefully it will inspire more people to take up an interest in the sciences. The acting was ok. Its the typical American fare with people cheering and the rebel subordinates going against orders etc.

The plot is predictable and some of the dialogue is cheesy. It is not a film that will go down in history has the greatest ever by any means, but if you like space/survival drams (think castaway set in space- but not has depressing) then its definitely worth seeing for a fun diversion.
