Never a dull moment. The Martian has a great blend of tension and humor, and if you're a science geek, this movie will be a treat. Every problem encountered is solved through logic and reasoning. I would say the only problem I had with the film were in those moments the movie was trying to hard to be funny.
Several of the jokes felt forced, which made them fall flat and even awkward at times. Other than that, this movie is one of the year's best so far.
