Characters are so undeveloped / un-relatable. If this is based on a book, I feel bad for the author. Its just horrible. Playing to science the first half, and then throwing out reality for the second. When the ship returns to pick up damon, we are forced to watch crew (who are essentially strangers to us whole film) pretend to grapple with their emotions.
Honestly, I wish someone would have come to rescue me from the theatre. This film made the vacuum of space seem like a nice and cozy alternative to watching.
