Review of The Marsh (2006) by Wahida K — 12 Jul 2009
Not bad. I was home sick from work last week and it was a fun movie to queue up on instantly play from Netflix. I love the effects for the studio room switching to the room of the past. I honestly didn't see the end coming.
And Forest Whitaker was fabulous as always. If you like to jump in your seat a little, but don't like nasty movies, this is a good one for a good old classic scare or two. Reminds me a little of Sam Raimy's The Boogey Man where the scares are in the building suspense from the music or the atmosphere and not from some crazy psycho going around slashing half-naked girls.
