Review of The Mark of Zorro (1940) by Josh H — 21 Jun 2009

The Mark of Zorro 1940's remake is an entertaining picture, it's got many flaws, though. The plot sounds interesting and I was really expecting to watch an outstanding action / adventure film but actually, I realized the film had a mediocre script with clitched dialogues and features of the characters.

I didn't like Diego de la Vega's clownish and foolish personality, nevertheless he really proved to be good at fighting with the sword at the end of the movie with the exciting fencing duel against the villanous Esteban and that's the only reason I'm giving this picture a fresh grade here.
