Review of The Marine (2006) by Angel R — 28 Mar 2009
This is a so-so action film. The villains are simply extremely sloppy. If they had been a bit more restrained, they might have gotten away with it. Instead, they leave a trail of chaos in their wake, including taking the wife of Triton.
You do feel bad over his discharge. After a while, you can't wait for him to kick their asses, as you know he will, for the film to be over. The action sequences and explosions were pretty good. So, entertaining, but only a so-so movie.
