Review of The Marine (2006) by Andrew W — 17 Aug 2010
There isn't anything clever about the plot, but as an action movie it has all the right elements. Big fights, car chases, big shoot-outs and very big explosions. Cena puts up a decent performance in the lead and there are plenty of in-jokes, the movie doesn't take itself too seriously and occasionally pokes fun at itself.
A sound enough romp for a quiet evening.
