Review of The Manchurian Candidate (2004) by Max Z — 25 Jan 2008

Although it's not as good as the remake, Denzel Washington still seems to have enough courage to play his role as Benett Marco without throwing the entire film into one crazy mess. But, contrary to what I just said, it actually does as the film progresses and the ending left critics and audiences everywhere confused at what the hell was actually going on in the movie.

Still, some scenes were just too good to not watch over and over...
