This is the movie Meryl Streep was made to be in. Denzel Washington was well .. Denzel Washington. Great actors all around. If you haven't seen the 1962 version, watch this one first. Couldn't help but compare, and I think it'll work better if you see this one first.
Can't tell you why I'm taking off one point - the explanation would be a spoiler. But it's ok - maybe you won't be bothered by it if you watch this one first.
