Review of The Manchurian Candidate (2004) by Sam W — 18 Jul 2008
Although Meryl Streep's performance yet again stole the headlines, I wasn't much enthralled by the movie throughout. I found the plot slightly far fetched and insignificant, and Liev Schreiber's performance was more stale than a one year old loaf of Hovis.
Denzel Washington was good, if not outstanding, so therefore the film I thought was not much more than above average.
