Review of The Manchurian Candidate (2004) by Meagan M — 02 Oct 2009
There were a lot of good things about this movie. I liked that it was futuristic in a realistic kind of way. I liked the cast, which included Denzel Washington, Jon Voight, and Meryl Streep (more on her later!) And I liked the genre, being a wonderful mix of politics and suspense.
I really didn't like Meryl Streep's character though. She was a bitch. She was manipulative... I know she was driving the action, but grr! Overall, it was a good movie, though.
