Review of The Manchurian Candidate (2004) by Kent Y — 14 Feb 2010
I read the original concept of the Manchurian Candidate (the 1962 film version), and the original sadly overshadows this 2004 remake. The only pros I can say come from the cast themselves, especially Meryl Streep! Everything else was average at best except for the screenplay, which because of the fact that the film is a typical remake, is ridiculously bad.
