An entertaining conspiracy about the lengths people will go to gain power. An army major discovers that he and his platoon have been manipulated into helping a senator's son get elected. While the Manchurian Candidate is entertaining it is also not incredibly consisitent.
A few points of the story get a lost for the sake of time. Manchurian Candidate is okay, but certainly far from spectacular.
