Actually this was an excellent movie. John Frankenheimer's straight forward approach to the source material and, for me, a very surprising performance by Frank Sinatra makes the original Manchurian Candidate not only a very watchable movie but also very deserving of its cult status.
Jonathan Demme eat your heart out.
