Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Reece H — 22 Oct 2008
This is the first time I've seen this, and I didn't really know too much about the movie, so it was great to see all of the great twists in the film, especially the last half hour. Lansbury is extremely evil and perfect in the film, she was so great. Glad I finally saw it, but I think I need to see it again to give it a better grade.

Very cool thriller about a group of returning Korean War soldiers who have been brainwashed, and Laurence Harvey in particular who is ordered to kill several people. Great cast, especially the evil and awesome Angela Lansbury as Harvey's mother. Many great moments, I especially love that awesome shot of Lansbury standing over the Queen of diamonds dress. And the finale is also very cool.
