Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Xmodem R — 15 Aug 2010
Suspenseful and lurid with a stellar cast, and wickedly eerie conspiracy theories. Love that this was shot in black and white, the starkness reigns. Fabulous performances from Frank Sinatra and Angela Lansbury, the 2005 remake with Denzel Washington and Meryl Streep pales miserably by comparison.
