Another solid Frankenheimer. A cool idea for a thriller, with Sinatra and Harvey giving their all. Very exciting and fast-paced, with some more awesome camera-work from one of the best (long takes and some interesting transitions).
Only thing that bugged me: the plot was handed to you on a silver platter. It tries to have a shocking twist ending, but you can figure it out from miles away. I dunno, maybe they revealed too much plot too fast.
It was good, not great. I'd be interested to see what the remake changed, if anything.
