Review of The Man Without a Past (2002) by Turkka K — 05 Jan 2008
Perhaps Kaurismäki´s best film. This is the other side of the Nokia land, which you won´t find in any tourist brochure, that´s for sure. The film is comforting in it´s belief of human goodness, that there is such a thing in this world.
Tragically, the man in the film (Markku Peltola) passed away last week.
