Review of The Man Without a Face (1993) by Sheila M — 04 Nov 2008
Mel Gibson stars in this movie, unlike most of his movies, this one is much deeper. It's amazing how two people can change each other's lives. It's about a boy and his unlikely mentor. The mentor (Mel Gibson) was a former teacher and schools the boy in difficult math, Latin and poetry, etc in order for him to get into a gifted school.
"Hath not a Jew eyes, hath not a Jew hands? ... if you prick us do we not bleed?..." In other words we're all human.... and we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. All around good movie, just a warning though, it has some difficult content and is not meant for children.
