Review of The Man Without a Face (1993) by Pete B — 29 Apr 2009
Put his religious views aside. I like Mel Gibson. He is a gifted actor and a brilliant director. He understands how to tell a story and how to draw you into it. He is also noticeably of the auteur approach to direction, which is refreshing.
Here, in his first film, he makes it happen. He tells a story that is perfectly told on the silver screen.
