Review of The Man Without a Face (1993) by Sara W — 16 Oct 2009
A question of what's behind the man and not the face. With a bad history and a horrific accident, McLeod (Gibson) settles near the sea only to be bothered by a young man facing his own dreaded past and current situation.
A student teacher relationship is formed, and through Shakespeare a friendship is developed only to have McLeod's past tested after the young boy seeks refuge from his mother. Don't be to quick to pass judgment, is the moral of the story, and for this film, it's a gem.
