Review of The Man with Two Brains (1983) by Rebecca H — 27 Feb 2009
As with all spoofy films, this is a hit and miss affair. You might laugh all the way through, you might not laugh once. Frankly, I found it far too pervy, even if Kathleen Turner is as beautiful as the characters endlessly say.
The story is actually quite interesting - widower brain surgeon remarries, but his beautiful wife is evil, and he falls in love with his perfect woman, who is unfortunately recently murdered and just a brain - but the humour and style didn't do it for me.
You'll probably love it once, but don't need to watch it again.
