Review of The Man with the Iron Fists (2012) by Jase H — 20 Oct 2013
Some kind of mix of Kill Bill and the blaxsploitation film genre, but fucks that up with the over the top cgi special effects and a hint of rap music in the soundtrack just ruins the chance for this to be any kind of homage to the genre it's based on.
The fight scenes were terrible.
Russell Crowe plays the only interesting character (and the best actor) of the entire film, the guy who helps out "The Man with the Iron Fists" (some skinny little rapper guy that doesn't look like he could fight if he could try, he's also the director of this movie so go figure).
Lucy Liu is just Lucy Liu and brought nothing to this film, just a reminder that she was in Kill Bill.
Also, watch out for Pam Grier (if you actually bother to watch this film), I bet you will not recognise her.
